Renovating a pool built in the 1960s on a challenging Castlecrag site is no small feat but when the bones are good, the result can be extraordinary. An engineering audit confirmed the shell was structurally sound, allowing our team to cut out and repair severe rust sections with confidence and precision.

The real challenge came in extending the poolside entertaining area over unstable fill soil. Rather than compromise, we engineered a solution: concrete support beams tied directly from the existing rock wall into the pool shell, bypassing the fill entirely and creating a foundation with zero movement, now or ever. New returns and a full Astral Halo automation system modernised the pool from the inside out, while a fully tiled Summer Bay mosaic interior and limestone coping delivered the premium finish this iconic Castlecrag home deserved.

A technically demanding project, executed with care and built to last another 60 years.
